Why does my charts show up as images?

If charts have turned into images, this usually indicates a version discrepancy

If you open a presentation and notice that you're only able to manipulate a chart as if it was an image instead of a Grunt-object, that means that you're on an older version of Grunt where you're not able to interact with the object.

This happens if someone worked on a presentation where they insert a chart which might have been updated with new features or functionality, meaning that these features are not available in your current version of Grunt. We turn the chart into an image so you're still able to do basic things like repositioning and scaling up and down.

In most cases you will be prompted to update to the latest version with this banner at the bottom of PowerPoint. If not you can head over to our downloads-page and find the latest installer.
