Distribute objects evenly with a single click. This works for all objects, such as Grunts, shapes, text boxes, pictures, and graphics.
This function will create equal spacing between the selected objects. To create equal spacing in both dimensions, check out Tidy Up, a part of Smart Selection.
To get started with the Distribute tool, follow these steps:
- Select at least three objects on your slide.
- Click one of the following buttons to distribute the selected objects:
- Distribute Horizontally: The space between the selected objects will be evenly distributed along a horizontal line between the leftmost and rightmost objects.
- Distribute Vertically: Will evenly distribute the space between the selected objects along a vertical line between the topmost and bottommost objects.
Distribute on slide
Similar to using the slide as a reference object for Alignment tools, you can also distribute objects on the slide. To do this, hold Ctrl while clicking Distribute. Grunt will then keep the outermost object fixed, mirror this object spacing to the slide edge, and distribute the remaining objects between them.
