Shape margin tool

Quickly remove or specify the text margin for selected shapes.

Follow these steps to use the Shape margin tool:

  1. Select the shapes you want to change.
  2. Click "Shape Margins" in the Grunt ribbon and choose one of the following presets:
    • None: Sets all margins to 0 cm (0 in).
    • Narrow: Sets all margins to 0.13 cm (0.05 in).
    • Normal: Sets top and bottom margins to 0.13 cm (0.05 in) and left and right margins to 0.25 cm (0.1 in). This is the default setting in PowerPoint. 
    • Wide: Sets all margins to 0.38 cm (0.15 in).
    • Custom margins: Specify your custom margins individually for each direction or all at once by pressing the "chain" icon.

Note:
This feature only works for native PowerPoint objects. To change margins for Grunt objects, check out the Margin rule.
